This is a comic i slopped together for a nephew's christmas present a few years ago. It's junk, i know, but it's happy junk, so i like it. This particular nephew is impossible to shop for, so i thought i'd make him a comic about how i figured Taco Time burned down on my street at college, using real events to tell the story. (No one told me how it burned down, so i HAD to make SOMETHING up!) The only part that's not true is when i get mugged. That didn't happen, but my roommates kept telling me it would, since i was always getting home from the art lab so late at night. It never did happen, so i thought i'd please them by illustrating the event for them. But yes, Taco Time DID burn down, Sunshine DID kill all the fish named Chubbuck, the Bulk DID drink all the drinks from the bottom of the lake, and we ALWAYS wound up watching "Charlie." WHY? Why Charlie? I hate bawling at movies!

I'll admit that this is a little exaggerated...except for the greasefire, i thought that that was a very plausable reason for a fast food joint to burn down.

This comic was made of everything from guache, watercolor and ink, to scrapbook stickers and sharpies. Because i had to toss this entire thing together in less than a week. I'll let you know that ink on guache DOES NOT WORK! I touched some severely blotched up things on photoshop, so it was slightly more readable.

And now everyone knows i'm crazy.
