I have been working on some CMYK color palates. 'Tis adventurous! I also drew a few Asian faces a while ago, (not all of them are Asian) and thus decided to practice my coloringness on them.

I should be working on other projects, though. Shame on me! :spank:

For some reason I can't full view it but from what I can see it looks great. What do you mean by CMYK palettes?

CMYK would be Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and blacK (don't ask why K represents black, for I do not know) They're the standard colors for most printers. Usually I paint in RGB colors, which are used on the internet (like I had to switch the colors of this pic to RGB, which made the colors even pinker, in order to post the picture) It's a real pain in the neck sometimes, because the colors tend to change between palate modes.

Ah. I feel stupid. I think they use K for black because, B is used for Blue in RGB. So if I want to print something out it' better if I do it in CMYK?

Er... I dunno, maybe I've been around Asians too much (seeing as I AM ONE), but they don't look too Asian to me.. They look more.. Gingerish.

Hee hee.. Your style will never leave you.

I wasn't trying to draw in a different style. I'm drawing Asians in MY style, which was the point of this project. Surely one or two of them look slightly Asian, since some of them are Chinese actresses that I drew from references. I mean, do the characters on Mulan look Chinese? Most of their eyes are too big, but that's just law in the cartoon world. If your main character is Asian, you still have to give them big eyes.

And trust me, NONE of these faces look like me.

They have amazingly expressive faces! I'm impressed (for whatever that's worth. :P)!
